Donations Overview
Kenya has been hit with hunger for the last one year and this has become a natural disaster. A number of people and children have lost their lives due to lack of food and water.
This has been caused by rain shortage for the last one and half years in Kenya since 80% of Kenyans rely on farming.
We have attached a photo of a group of kids outside the internally displaced Camps which is one of the area we are working on and these people have been suffering since they were displaced due to violence which had hit the country on december, 2008. For these kids, they are living in tents with their families,no food, high rate of school drop out due to lack of food and water.
